MEET OUR ALL VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mark Boyer is a software developer for the State Legislature. He is the father of C cast member Zane, and two RCTC alumni, Aaron and Lauren. Mark created the RCTC website, and is our webmaster, keeper of the database, and likes to help out with props. During shows, you will find Mark's wife, Cindy McCrea, piloting the light board.
Steven Briggs is an advertising manager at The Sacramento Bee. He is the father of RCTC C castmember Chaney. Steve coordinates the advertising and public relations efforts for RCTC shows. He also designs and produces the show programs. He has a strong background in marketing and creative direction.
Mark Coverdale is a photographer. He is married to Gracie, a kindergarten teacher for the San Jaun District. He is the Father of two castmembers; Michelle a "C" and Amy a "B". Mark coordinates the sound and does the Head Shots, Cast and Publicity photography.
Janet Eaton is Executive Secretary of the California Rehabilitation Appeals Board. Her two daughters, Debbie and Sadie (Sarah) were original RCTC castmembers. Both are now married (and about to make her a grandma twice over!) and living out-of-town, so Janet considers all the RCTC castmembers of the past 17 years to be her kids. The travel demands of her new job don't allow her to stage-manage, so she is coordinating phone and email communications and heading up the Souvenirs Committee, jobs she can do from anywhere in the state!
Rick Ferreter Rick Ferreter is a computer specialist with the County of Sacramento. He is the father of 'A' cast member, Hannah, and 'B' cast member, Aidan. Rick enjoys playing with electricity and thus, has taken a lead role on the lighting team.
Rene Fong (Secretary) is ah HR IS Consultant for the State Assembly and has three children. Alaina, Jasen, and Nicci! Rene is an assistant stage manager and backstage coordinator.
John Iniguez (Vice President) is a Parole Agent III and the Chief of the Mentally Disordered Offender/Sexually Violent Predators Unit for the Board of Parole Hearings. John was one of the original founders of RCTC. His daughter, Karin, was a castmember from 1990 to 1997, and completed her BA in Theater Education. Although his own daughter has moved on, John is still the "Theatre dad" of the River City Theatre family. John says that he considers all the castmembers his kids. John is the Vice-President of the Board, and our esteemed Producer.
Georgette Kearsing has been with Sutter Health for over 20 years and currently works as a Clinical Technology Researcher. Georgette helps to coordinate grants, corporate sponsorships and community outreach for RCTC. She is the Mom of B Castmember, Jenna, who aspires to be the next American Idol. Aside from all this fun, Georgette lives on a bird farm in Wilton with over 150 chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys and quail.
Sandy Koster (President) is a deposition reporter. She serves as RCTC's propsmaster and will be stage managing for 42nd Street. Sandy's daughter Emily was an RCTC cast member for many years and is 24 now and recently received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from U. C. Berkeley.
Karen Moorhouse (Treasurer) is a registered dental hygienist. She is the mother of a C castmember, Katelyn. Karen is the Treasurer of RCTC and keeps track of our finances. She is also an assistant stage manager and backstage coordinator.
Mike Neal is a Systems Software Specialist for the State of California's Department of Technology Services. He is the father of a 'B' castmember, Erika, an RCTC alumni, Monika (GO ANTEATERS!!!), and a son, John, who sometimes helps out at the RCTC warehouse. Mike works with Matt Heskett and Randy Roesser at the RCTC warehouse on the construction of sets in addition to the backstage coordination of set movement at the theater during the shows. Mike's wife Claudia can also be found helping out in various capacities during the shows.
Melanie Webb is a real estate agent and the mother of 4 children - two of whom are currently in RCTC. Maureen has been loving RCTC for years and recently talked her little brother, Ian into joining the fun during Cats - he's hooked now! Melanie is in charge of Community Outreach and oversees the box office. Melanie has been a theatre lover, actress and singer since Junior High School and is glad to have a chance to give back some of what she received!
Laurel White is a federal prosecutor and a former television journalist. She is the the mother of two castmembers: Dylan and Devyn, both Cs. Laurel is an assistant stage manager, the scholarship coordinator, and is in charge of microphones during the production.
