MEET OUR ALL VOLUNTEER BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Mark Boyer is a software developer for the State Legislature. He is the father of C cast member Zane, and two RCTC alumni, Aaron and Lauren. Mark created the RCTC website, and is our webmaster, keeper of the database, and likes to help out with props. During shows, you will find Mark's wife, Cindy McCrea, piloting the light board.
Steven Briggs is the marketing and brand manager at The Sacramento Bee. He is the father of RCTC C castmember Chaney. Steve coordinates the advertising and public relations efforts for RCTC shows. He also designs and produces the show programs.
Mark Coverdale is a Portrait Photographer located in Folsom. He is married to Gracie, a kindergarten teacher for the San Juan School District. Mark is the Father of one cast member, Amy a "C" and former cast member, Michelle. Mark coordinates the sound and provides photography for RCTC.
Shelley Fitch is a pharmaceutical sales representative and is the mother of C castmember, Camryn. Camryn loves RCTC and has participated in every workshop since Fall 2006 (she's hooked!). Shelley is the Communications Coordinator for RCTC and is responsible for answering many of your e-mails. Shelley is also a backstage coordinator for the A/B castmembers.
Matt Heskett is a service technician in the HVAC industry. He is the Father of RCTC alumni Abby and Bonnie. Matt is our Technical Director and works with the set design team organizing and building the sets. He can also be found backstage working with Mike Neal and the set crew.
John Iniguez (Vice President) After 36 years of state service, John retired as the Chief of the Mentally Disordered Offender/Sexually Violent Predators Unit for the Board of Parole Hearings. He now works part time as a Deputy Commissioner for the Board and conducts parole consideration hearings for inmates serving life terms. John was one of the original founders of RCTC. His daughter, Karin, was a castmember from 1990 to 1997, and completed her BA in Theater Education. Although Karin has moved on and has a family of her own, John is still the "Theatre Dad" of the River City Theatre family and considers all castmembers his kids. Of course, spending time with his granddaughter Bridget is the best part of semi-retirement. John is the Vice-President of the Board, and our Executive Director
Georgette Kearsing has been with Sutter Health for over 25 years and currently works as a Clinical Technology Researcher. Georgette's main focus is coordinating funding for RCTC, box office and Board Secretary. She is the Mom of C Castmember, Jenna, who aspires to be the next American Idol. Aside from all this fun, Georgette lives on a bird farm in Wilton with over 150 chickens, geese, ducks who are ready to be in one of RCTC's shows!
Tami Lee is a retired elementary school teacher, after 14 years of being in a classroom. Thanks to husband Brian for deciding he needed her to be home with their 2 wonderful kids because teaching consumes all her time and energy. She can still be found volunteering in the classroom or substitute teaching somewhere on campus...just can't stay away! In the summer, she's a private swimming instructor. Tami has been blessed with 2 talented kids. Erika, a "C" has been a part of RCTC since 2005. This will be her 11th show and usually has back to back shows all year. Jordan loves performing with the Jr. Symphony (viola) and Sacramento Taiko drumming group. At RCTC, Tami is assistant stage manager and backstage coordinator and can usually be found behind the computer recording the blocking.
Karen Moorhouse (Treasurer) is a registered dental hygienist. She is the mother of a C castmember, Katelyn. Karen is the Treasurer of RCTC and keeps track of our finances. She is also an assistant stage manager and backstage coordinator.
Mike Neal (President) is a Systems Software Specialist for the State of California's Office of Technology Services. He is the father of a 'C' castmember, Erika, an RCTC alumni, Monika and a son, John, who sometimes helps out backstage and at the RCTC warehouse. Mike works with Matt Heskett and Randy Roesser at the RCTC warehouse on the construction of sets in addition to the backstage coordination of set movement at the theater during the shows. Mike's wife Claudia can also be found helping out in various capacities during the shows.
Sue Nelson Sue Nelson is an Assistant Store Director with Raley's/Bel Air and has worked for the company for 18 years. Her passion is customer service and training! She is the proud parent of two beautiful and talented children. Nick, a "C" who has just completed his third RCTC production and is loving it! Daughter Cassandra is a Junior at Sac State working towards her teaching credential with a Minor in Theatre. Sue's backstage home is in the Props Department sharing her creative vision while working with all of the kids!
Chandra Rosales Chandra Rosales is a Service Consultant at Elk Grove Acura and she and her mom, Joy Sanchez (who can also be found back stage at times) are owners of a local mural painting business, Njoymurals. Chandra has three beautiful daughters, Micayla is a “C”, Caitlin is an “A”, and Faith helps out behind the scenes. You can find Chandra helping at the warehouse with set design and once we are in the theatre you can find her back stage working with props. Just look for the pink tool belt and you have found her!
Melanie Webb is a real estate agent and the mother of 4 children - two of whom are currently in RCTC. Maureen has been loving RCTC for years and recently talked her little brother, Ian into joining the fun during Cats - he's hooked now! Melanie is in charge of Community Outreach and oversees the box office. Melanie has been a theatre lover, actress and singer since Junior High School and is glad to have a chance to give back some of what she received!
Jason Wong
